Raising a 25 ft O'Day 25 in Lakewood Ranch, FL

Rust running down the hull from the keel bolts was a slow warning on the 25 ft O'Day 25 sailboat, and it gave that warning for a long time. She sat at a lake dock, leaking a little at the keel joint each week, until a storm pushed her over the edge. By morning the deck was awash and the bow slightly up.
The obstacle was the keel. A boat with that much ballast sits heavy, and the water was shallow, so she had dug into the mud. Divers cleared the silt around the hull with a hand jet, then the crew passed straps and brought up the lift bags in two stages. The mud let go with a long suck, and she rose level.
The hull was repairable and the owner wanted the bolts rebedded, so we ran it as a salvage. A short tow took her to the ramp, then a truck carried her toward Bradenton to a repair yard. Three hours on site, and the lake was left clean after the sunken boat removal.

Crews cover Manatee County: Bradenton, South Bradenton. A boat on the bottom does not get better with waiting, and the water only gets harder to work with, so we aim to be at the water within the same week you call. Send a photo, the boat length, and where it sits, and we will tell you how we would raise it and where it goes afterward.
