Lutz, FL: 22 ft Larson 220 Off the Bottom in One Morning

Rainwater sitting above the deck drain is how the 22 ft Larson 220 cuddy cabin got in trouble. The drain clogged, rain pooled, and the weight pushed the stern down in her slip. By morning the deck was awash and the bow slightly up, between two boats that were still floating fine.
The obstacle was the slip, and the marina office was clear that nothing could touch the neighbors. We rigged fenders on both sides, brought the lift bags in from the open end, and laid out hoses so the discharge ran away from the dock. The bags went under in turn while a drain line emptied the cabin, and she rose between the pilings without a scrape.
The Larson was in good shape under the waterline and the owner wanted her kept, so this was a salvage. A short tow took her to the lift at the end of the fairway, and a truck carried her toward Brandon to a repair yard. Four hours on site for the sunken boat recovery.

Crews cover Hillsborough County: Apollo Beach, Bloomingdale, Brandon, Cheval. Jobs in this area are usually booked within the same week, because a boat that has settled is simpler to lift before the weather changes. Give us the length, the depth, and the way down to the water, and we will build the lift plan and the exit route around that.
