Hauling a cuddy cabin out of a Henrietta driveway

A 23 ft Rinker 232 with a cuddy cabin sat in a Monroe County driveway for three years. The gelcoat had crazed into a road map of stress cracks, and the trailer underneath had seized hubs that hadn't turned since the boat last moved. The owner had stopped looking at it the way you stop looking at something you've decided to live with, until one afternoon he decided he hadn't. The truck got there on a Thursday morning. Seized hubs meant we couldn't roll the trailer, so we brought a rotator and lifted the whole rig, boat, frame, wheels and all, onto the flatbed. The driveway was tight, but we had room. Under an hour from pull-up to straps tight. We routed toward Rochester and took it straight to the processor. The Rinker went to the shredder the next morning. Crews cover all of Monroe County: Rochester, Greece, Irondequoit, Perinton, Penfield, Gates. We handle pickups same week most of the time. A lot of boats around Henrietta come out of storage in spring or go back in late fall, and that's when we see the volume spike. We work around those seasonal moves, and we've got the routes down. Call with your address and boat size, and we'll tell you what day we can be there.
