Hauling a sailboat out of a Laguna Niguel driveway

A 22 ft Catalina 22 sailboat had been sitting in a driveway in Laguna Niguel for close to a decade, mast down and lashed to the deck the whole time. The swing-keel trailer underneath had flat tires on both sides, and the boat itself had settled into the concrete like it planned to stay there forever. The owner had stopped sailing years ago, and eventually stopped looking at it altogether. Getting it out meant dealing with the trailer first. We brought air, got those flats holding pressure again, and positioned a rotator truck to winch the rig back onto the street without tearing up the driveway or clipping the garage corner. The whole operation took most of a morning. Once we had it on the truck, we routed it to our yard in Orange County where we pulled the swing keel and removed what was left of the mast hardware before the hull went to the processor. Crews cover all of Orange County: Anaheim, Santa Ana, Irvine, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Fullerton. Laguna Niguel sits right in our regular rotation, and we handle same-week pickups most of the time. Winter and spring bring a lot of boat movement in and out of storage around here, so we've got the logistics down. Call with your address and boat size, and we'll tell you what day works.
