Hauling a cabin cruiser out of a Las Vegas driveway

This 24 ft Maxum 2400 SCR had been parked in a Las Vegas driveway long enough for the desert sun to chalk the hull white, and the transom had gone soft underneath from years of sitting with no cover. Nobody was running it anywhere near Henderson or anywhere else. The trailer frame had rusted through in spots, and the tires were flat-spotted from sitting still through more than one summer. The rust made towing it a real question mark. We got a second trailer under the hull instead of trusting the original frame, which added time but kept the cabin cruiser from shifting or dropping mid-tow. There was no title in the drawer, so we handled that part per the Nevada page rules before anything got loaded. Getting it staged, secured, and off the property took most of a morning. Once it was off the lot, the Maxum went straight to processing. The fiberglass hull got cut down for scrap, and the rusted trailer went with it. Clark County doesn't need another one of these sitting around. Crews cover all of Clark County: Henderson, North Las Vegas, Enterprise, Spring Valley, Sunrise Manor, Paradise. Most calls for a 24 ft Maxum get scheduled the same week, sometimes sooner if the yard needs the space cleared. A lot of these pickups come straight out of self-storage lots, where a boat's been parked since the last trip to Lake Mead and never moved again. We back the trailer out, hook up, and get it off the property without you standing around all day.
