Marina Boat Removal in Metairie, Louisiana

Slip fees on a sailboat nobody had sailed in three years is a slow, expensive kind of regret. The owner kept paying out of habit long after the interest was gone, telling himself he'd get back into it eventually, but two attempts to list it barely got a nibble once buyers saw how much rigging work it needed. The marina office finally flagged the account and asked him to make a decision. The finger pier itself was the tight spot, narrow enough that lowering the mast before we could move the boat took real care, working the rigging loose piece by piece so nothing dropped onto the boats tied up on either side. Close to two hours just for that stage. Once it was down and secured, the hull and hardware still had resale value even without the mast, so we're parting it out rather than scrapping the whole boat.
