Marina Boat Removal in Morehead City, NC

He'd stopped visiting the boat years before he stopped paying for the slip, and the marina finally sent word that the account was closed out. The 26 ft Carver had sat there through hurricane seasons without so much as a bilge pump running, and by the time we got the call the owner just wanted the account settled and the boat gone. It was wedged in a tight end slip between two pilings, close enough that a straight tow would have scraped both sides, so we had a crew walk it out sideways on lines before ever starting an engine. Once it cleared the fairway we idled it to the ramp and had it on the trailer inside an hour. The marina manager watched from the office window the whole time. By afternoon the slip was empty and the account was finally closed.
