Raising a 24 ft Harris FloteBote 24 in Naples, FL

This 24 ft Harris FloteBote 24 pontoon had a vinyl floor bubbled up in blisters and a bimini frame snapped in half. It was on a mooring, settled by the stern with the bow pointing up, because the rear tubes had taken on water over a few weeks. A pontoon sinks differently than a hull boat one tube at a time.
The obstacle was balance. If one tube floats before the other, the whole deck tilts and everything slides. We set lift bags under each tube, filled them together, and watched the deck level as it rose. The snapped bimini frame was cut free and kept off the deck.
The sunken boat recovery took about three hours. We towed it to the ramp near Marco Island and loaded it there. Tubes were sound, which meant a repair yard could rebuild the deck, and the pontoon left as a salvage rather than a teardown.

Crews cover Collier County: Golden Gate, Immokalee, Marco Island, and Ochopee. When a boat goes under in Naples or anywhere nearby, we schedule the recovery the same week once we have photos and a rough depth. Waiting almost never helps a boat on the bottom, with fuel, oil, and storms all adding to the cleanup, so call us and send a few pictures to get on the schedule soonest.
