18 ft Sea Ray Removal in Oyster Bay, NY

This 18 ft Sea Ray 180 bowrider had been parked on its trailer in a driveway long enough that the cover shredded at every seam, just strips of vinyl flapping off a frame nobody bothered to replace. Fiberglass hull was intact, but the owner had stopped registering it years back and just let it sit through winters, figuring someone would eventually deal with it. Someone was us. The trailer tires were dry-rotted down to the cord, so towing it as-is off the property wasn't happening without one of them blowing out halfway down the block. We swapped in a set of loaner skids under the axle, walked it out slow, and got it up on our equipment without ever trusting those tires past the driveway apron. Took most of a morning, mostly because of that trailer, not the boat itself. No title in the drawer, handled per the New York page rules. We ran the route out past Hicksville and sent the hull on to the processor for cutdown, same as most of these forgotten bowriders end up. Crews cover all of Nassau County: North Hempstead, Hempstead, Levittown, Freeport, Hicksville, Valley Stream. We're usually able to get an 18 ft Sea out on a same-week pickup once the title's sorted. A lot of our Oyster Bay calls come in during the spring and fall, when boats are moving in or out of storage yards and someone realizes the one in the corner isn't making the trip back to the water.
