Raising a 24 ft Harris FloteBote 24 in Port Charlotte, FL

A 24 ft Harris FloteBote 24 pontoon vinyl floor bubbled, bimini frame snapped. That was how the owner described it on the phone, and it was accurate.
It went down at the public ramp after a long wet stretch pushed water through a cracked seam in one tube. It lay with the gunwales level with the water, right in the launch lane. That was the obstacle: nobody could put a boat in until it moved. We blocked off our side of the ramp for the morning and floated the tubes with lift bags patching the seam as it surfaced.
Time on site was about four hours. The floor and frame were past fixing, so the tow ran to our yard, not a repair shop. Aluminum tubes go to the salvage pile, and the rest is dismantled and recycled. The only route context was Punta Gorda traffic on the way out. Sunken boat removal ended with the ramp open again before lunch.

Crews cover Charlotte County: Punta Gorda, Rotonda, Placida, and Rotonda West. If a pontoon is under water in Port Charlotte, send photos and depth, and a crew can usually be there within the week. When a sunk boat is blocking a ramp, it jumps the queue, so the lane reopens. A full fuel tank, a busy ramp, or a cramped slip changes how we work, not when we come.
