Hauling a runabout out of a Prescott Valley storage lot

A 17 ft Glasspar Seafair sat in a Prescott Valley yard for years, hull chalked and gelcoat gone soft, the kind of sixties classic that had crossed the line from fixable to scrap. The trailer underneath it had collapsed long ago. The boat wasn't going anywhere, and neither was the owner's patience. We got the call from someone tired of looking at it. The challenge wasn't the boat itself but the trailer it was supposed to sit on. The frame had rusted through in places and settled unevenly into the ground. We couldn't roll it out, so we brought in a crane to lift the hull clear, then hauled the frame out in pieces. The whole job took most of a morning. Once we had the Glasspar on our trailer, we routed it to the recycler in Yavapai County where the fiberglass gets separated and processed. Crews cover all of Yavapai County: Prescott, Chino Valley, Camp Verde, Verde Village, Williamson, Village of Oak Creek (Big Park). We schedule most pickups within the same week. A lot of folks in Prescott Valley move boats in and out of storage with the seasons, and we handle those transitions regularly. Call with your address and boat size, and we'll tell you what day works.
