The Villages, FL: 20 ft Sylvan Mirage Gone in One Morning

A 20 ft Sylvan Mirage 20 pontoon was sitting in a driveway in The Villages with pontoons stained dark at the waterline and furniture rotted all the way through. The owner had bought it years back, used it a handful of times, then parked it on a serviceable trailer and walked away. By the time we got the call, the boat had been there long enough that he'd stopped seeing it. The trailer was solid, but the boat's weight and the tight turning radius into the driveway meant we couldn't just back a standard flatbed in. We ran a tow line from our heavy recovery rig, angled the trailer by hand to clear the oak overhang on one side, and winched it straight out to the street. The whole job ran under an hour. Once it was loaded and strapped, we pointed north toward Ocala and brought it to our yard for processing.
