Violet, OH: 27 ft Cal Gone in One Morning

A 27 ft Cal 27 had been parked on stands in a Fairfield County driveway for years. The boom was gone, the mast corroded at the step, and the fiberglass hull had started to show its age sitting exposed to the elements. The owner had bought it thinking he'd restore it. He never did, and one day he called us. The boat was heavy and the trailer wasn't going anywhere without work. We showed up with a heavy-duty winch setup and jacks to break the stands loose and get the hull onto our flatbed. The mast came down at our yard, and we pulled the keel before the hull went to the processor. Most of the job ran under two hours, start to finish. Crews cover all of Fairfield County: Reynoldsburg, Lancaster, Pickerington, Canal Winchester, Walnut, Greenfield. We move boats out same week most of the time, depending on the route. Spring and fall get busy when people pull rigs from storage or move them in for winter, so we schedule those early. A 27-footer in Violet takes one truck and a couple of hours from load to gone.
