October means the same trip for a Bowie family every year, their center console coming off the water and into storage before the first freeze, then back out again come April like clockwork. This year they are done making that drive themselves and are handing the whole seasonal loop to someone else, the same way a neighbor already retired her sailboat from doing it solo.
My crew runs boat hauling out of Bowie with our own truck and trailer, loading the boat and running it door to door on routes that also cover Beltsville and Brandywine.
