Hauling a cuddy cabin out of a Bowie storage lot

A 20 ft Sunbird Corsair 205 had been sitting in a Bowie yard for years, its canvas cover collapsed under snow two winters running. The fiberglass hull was still sound underneath, but the trailer had two flat tires and hadn't moved since the cover came down. The boat was wedged between a fence line and a neighbor's property, close enough that backing a standard hauler straight in wasn't an option. We came in early on a Thursday, assessed the angle, and brought a smaller tow vehicle with a lift gate. The crew jacked the hull off the trailer frame, loaded it flat onto the truck bed, and chained it down. The trailer stayed behind for separate pickup. From first contact to the Sunbird heading toward the processor in Prince George's County, the job ran under two hours. No title paperwork in the drawer. We handled the de-documentation per Maryland regs, and the hull went to the recycler the same day.
