I've pulled old boats out of Melrose backyards for years. Some came with the house, people inherit a fiberglass hull and a slip bill they didn't sign up for. Others sat through a season or two while the owner hoped for a buyer, then the storage lot fees piled up faster than the asking price ever could. One guy had a dead motor, got a repair quote north of eight grand, looked at the boat again, and called me instead. The HOA sends letters. The neighbor's property line gets closer every year. That's usually when the call comes in.
We handle the full job start to finish, assessment, paperwork, tow, and responsible disposal. A pickup in Melrose often runs the same afternoon as a job in Malden, so timing usually works out. The junk boat comes off the trailer or out of the slip, goes on the truck, and you're done with it. Missing paperwork does not stop the job, details on the Massachusetts page.
