Survey day arrives before the owner has a way to get the boat to the inspector, and in North Augusta that gap is usually the whole problem. A yacht sitting behind the house needs to reach the yard on a fixed date, appraisal and financing riding on it. The other situation is the same boat two months later, headed to a dealer once the paperwork clears and a sale finally closes.
My crew runs North Augusta jobs with our own truck and trailer, sized for the hull, and we haul it door to door, keeping Aiken and Beech Island on the same route. Oversize paperwork is ours before the wheels turn. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved, details on the South Carolina boat transport page.
