I get calls from people in Oshkosh who bought a sailboat with the best intentions. The mast came down one fall and never went back up. Or slip fees at the marina started adding up faster than the sailing did, and one year turned into five. Sometimes it's an estate sale where nobody in the family sails, and the old sailboat just sits taking up space. I've pulled rigs out of storage lots, off trailers buried behind garages, and out of dry storage where they've been waiting for a restoration that stalled at the deck core.
We handle sailboat disposal start to finish in Oshkosh and the surrounding area, including runs to Vinland and Black Wolf on the same trip. The crew takes down the rigging, secures the mast, and tows the old boat out. Missing paperwork doesn't stop the job. More details on what happens next are on the Wisconsin sailboat disposal page.
