Abilene, TX: 14 ft Jon Boat Gone in One Morning

A 14 ft Jon boat 1436 sat in a Jones County yard with a dented hull and half full of yard waste, no trailer underneath it. The aluminum hull had taken damage over time, and someone had used it as a catch-all for branches and debris. When the owner finally called, the real problem wasn't the boat itself,it was that without a trailer, we couldn't tow it out the way most removals work. We brought a flatbed and a small crew. The hull was light enough that three of us could lift it, but getting it out of the yard required careful maneuvering around the property line. We loaded the aluminum frame onto the bed, secured it, and headed out toward Anson to the metal recycler who takes Jon boats by the dozen. The whole job ran under two hours from start to finish. The recycler took the aluminum hull and frame. The yard waste came off before we loaded, and the owner had one less thing taking up space. We cover all of Jones County: Abilene and Anson, Hawley, Lueders. Most pickups happen same week. We see a lot of boats moving in and out of storage around seasonal transitions, and we're set up to handle those routes without delay. Whether your 14-footer is parked in town or on acreage outside the county line, we'll come get it.
