Hauling a bass boat out of a Arlington driveway

This one was an 18 ft Ranger 350V, a fiberglass bass boat with the metal-flake hull faded down to matte and the outboard long gone. Whoever ran that motor last probably sold it off separate years before the boat ever became a problem for whoever owned the driveway it sat in. By the time we got the call, the trailer tires were flat on both sides and the whole rig had settled into the concrete like it planned on staying. No title in the drawer, handled per the Texas page rules, so that part didn't slow us down. The real obstacle was getting a trailer with dead rubber to roll far enough to load without dragging rims across the driveway. We swapped in skates under the axle, walked it out slow, and had it on the truck in under an hour. Route ran us out past Euless on the way to the processor. Hull got cut down for scrap once it landed, fiberglass separated out, and that driveway in Tarrant County finally had room for something else. Crews cover all of Tarrant County: North Richland Hills, Euless, Bedford, Haltom City, Keller, Hurst. We're usually already routing through Arlington on the way to a pickup, so getting a same-week slot for that 18 ft Ranger isn't a stretch. A lot of these calls come in right when someone's clearing storage space before the seasonal shuffle, and we work that into the same run.
