Boat Pickup in Battle Lake, Minnesota

By early September the marina docks at this lake start clearing out, and this Lund was the one boat left tied up past the deadline. Nobody had checked on it since a family trip earlier in the summer, and the dock association was ready to cut the lines themselves if somebody didn't come get it. The owner lived a few hours away and asked us to just handle the whole thing without him making the drive. Getting a trailer down to the water meant working around a narrow access road other lake residents still needed that week, so we ran the job early on a weekday morning instead of a weekend. Floated the Lund onto a straight trailer, pulled it up the access road before anyone else needed it, and had it off the property before the coffee shop in town opened.
