22 ft Catalina Removal in St. Louis Park, MN

A 22 ft Catalina 22 sailboat sat in a St. Louis Park driveway for years with its mast down and lashed to the deck. The swing-keel trailer under it had flat tires and hadn't moved since the owner decided sailing wasn't happening anymore. Getting it out meant more than just a winch. The mast was going nowhere without careful handling, and those flat tires meant we couldn't roll it onto the truck bed the usual way. We brought a second trailer, jacked the frame to level, and slid it across using dollies and a spreader bar. The whole job ran most of a morning from street to loading. Once the Catalina 22 was at our yard in Hennepin County, we pulled the keel and cut the hull down to recyclable pieces. Fiberglass went to the processor, hardware and metal went to salvage, and the driveway in St. Louis Park was empty again.
