Boise City, ID: 13 ft Boston Whaler Gone in One Morning

A 13 ft Boston Whaler 13 sat in a driveway in Boise City for three seasons. The foam core had absorbed water over time, and the fiberglass hull was heavy enough that moving it by hand wasn't an option. The galvanized trailer underneath had bent so badly the axle sat crooked, and the tires were flat and cracked. We brought a heavy-duty dolly and a recovery winch. The crew positioned the boat off the bent trailer first, then used the winch to move the hull into position for loading onto our truck. The weight was real, but the driveway had decent access to the street, so we didn't have to route around Meridian or deal with tight corners. The job ran under two hours from arrival to departure. The hull went to the recycler in Ada County. The trailer was salvaged for scrap metal. The driveway was clean. We cover all of Ada County: Meridian, Eagle, Kuna, Star, Garden City, Hidden Springs.
