26 ft Sea Ray Removal in Boston, MA

The boat was a 26 ft Sea Ray 268 Sundancer, a fiberglass cabin cruiser with a soft transom and bottom paint peeling off in sheets. No trailer under it. It had been blocked up in a Suffolk County driveway for years, the kind of spot where a boat gets parked one fall with plans to fix the transom over the winter, and the winter just keeps happening. With no trailer, the hull was sitting straight on blocks, and that's the obstacle that matters here. We couldn't just hook a hitch and roll. We brought a tandem-axle equipment trailer and a set of hydraulic dollies to lift the hull off the blocks and walk it over without cracking the soft spot in the transom wider than it already was. Once it was up and strapped, the route out toward Revere was straightforward and the whole lift and load took under an hour. No title in the drawer, handled per the Massachusetts page rules. From there the Sundancer went straight to the processor, where the fiberglass got cut down and the deck hardware pulled for scrap. That driveway's clear now, blocks and all.
