Raising a 27 ft Cal 27 in Citrus Park, FL

The 27 ft Cal 27 sat against a canal seawall with its cabin roof just above the surface, boom missing and the mast corroded at the step. It had gone down on a calm night, which tells you how: slow leak, nobody watching.
The seawall was the problem. Concrete edge, no room to swing a crane, and a mast that would hang up on the neighbor's dock lines. We pulled the mast first, working from the skiff, then slung lift bags under the hull and floated her along the wall to a spot where a truck could back close.
She was on the trailer by lunch. Hull cracked at the keel stub, so no repair yard wanted her. Off she went on a tow toward Brandon, to our yard for dismantling and recycling. The aluminum spar and the winches were the salvage. One pass of sunken boat removal, done.

Crews cover Hillsborough County: Apollo Beach, Bloomingdale, Brandon, and Cheval. We book Citrus Park recoveries inside the week most of the time, once the photos and depth are in. Canal-side jobs here mean backing a trailer down a residential street, so we plan the turn before the truck leaves the yard.
