Cleveland, TN: 28 ft Bertram Gone in One Morning

A 28 ft Bertram 28 sportfisher sat in a yard outside South Cleveland with twin engines seized solid and the cockpit sole rotted through to the frames. No trailer. The owner had parked it there five years back, thinking he'd get to it, and then just didn't. We showed up on a Tuesday in Bradley County ready to load dead weight. The boat was too heavy to winch onto a trailer without one, so we brought our own heavy-duty cradle rig and set it under the hull on blocks.
