Hauling a bowrider out of a Cupertino driveway

A 19 ft Celebrity 190 bowrider was sitting in a Cupertino driveway with the windshield missing and the hull full of rainwater. The trailer had flat tires on both sides, and the whole rig was wedged between a fence and a parked car, with barely eighteen inches of clearance on either end. The owner had bought it ten years ago, used it twice, and then let it sit. By the time we got the call, the boat had become a fixture he drove past every morning. We brought a heavy-duty rotator and a flatbed instead of our standard trailer. The crew jacked the Celebrity up carefully to avoid punching through the softened hull, swapped the bad tires for dollies, and rolled the whole assembly straight back toward the street. The tight access meant we couldn't use a boom, so we winched it onto the bed by hand over about two hours. Once it was secure, we drove it down to San Jose where the fiberglass got cut down and routed to the processor.
