A jet ski bought for a kid who grew up and moved out sat under the carport for the better part of a decade after that. It ran fine for a couple of summers, then the battery died over one winter and nobody bothered replacing it, and after that it just became part of the carport's furniture along with a stack of folding chairs and an old cooler. The trailer's hitch coupler had rusted solid to the ball, which meant the actual sticking point wasn't the jet ski at all but freeing the trailer itself before we could tow anything.
