Goodyear, AZ: 20 ft Grady-White Gone in One Morning

A 20 ft Grady-White 204 had been sitting in a Goodyear residential yard for three years. The center console was cracked, the fuel tank was suspect, and the trailer's axle had rusted so badly it wouldn't roll. The owner had bought it thinking he'd fix it up, then life happened, and the boat just stayed there. By the time he called us, his neighbors in Maricopa County were done looking at it, and so was he. The real problem wasn't the boat itself. It was the trailer. We couldn't tow it to the truck because the axle wouldn't take the weight. We brought our own flatbed, jacked the hull carefully off the deteriorated frame, and loaded it directly. Took us most of a morning. Once we had it secured, we routed the Grady-White to the processor for responsible dismantling. The trailer stayed behind for scrap metal pickup.
