Raising a 24 ft Bayliner 2455 Ciera in Oak Ridge, FL

Out at a lake dock, a 24 ft Bayliner 2455 Ciera cabin cruiser showed a green algae line and a chalky hull, with the cabin roof just above the surface when it was found. It had sat for a long time on a full bilge, and a bad pump finally let it go down. The line of algae showed exactly how high the water used to ride.
The obstacle was the dock height. The dock sat low, and the cabin roof tucked right under it. We could not work the bags around the hull from above, so we floated a skiff in and fed the bags down from the side. Lift bags came up evenly, and a pump cleared the cabin.
The whole job ran about four hours. We towed the Ciera to a ramp near Apopka. Sunken boat removal ended with a repair yard, since the hull cleaned up and the engine ran, which made it a worthwhile salvage.

Crews cover Orange County: Apopka, Bithlo, Conway, and Doctor Phillips. When a boat goes under in Oak Ridge or anywhere nearby, we schedule the recovery the same week once we have photos and a rough depth. A boat left under water tends to get worse, with fuel, oil, and weather piling on, so ring us with a few photos and we will get a crew on the schedule.
