Hendersonville, TN: 22 ft Sun Tracker Party Barge Gone in One Morning

A 22 ft Sun Tracker Party Barge 22 had been sitting in a driveway in Hendersonville for three seasons. The deck boards had gone spongy, the aluminum rail was bent, and the pontoon tubes were still sound enough to move but not much else. No trailer. Just a barge that wasn't going anywhere on its own, and the owner had finally decided it wasn't going to. We showed up on a Tuesday morning with a heavy-duty dolly and a winch truck. The real problem wasn't the boat's weight or condition. It was access. The driveway was narrow, the boat was wide, and the nearest clear pull-through was a hard angle past a fence line and down toward Gallatin Road. We rigged a come-along to the house foundation, walked the barge sideways using the dolly, and cleared the fence with maybe a foot to spare. Most of a morning of careful work, no damage to the property. Once we had it loaded and secured on the truck bed, we headed back to our Hendersonville yard. No title in the drawer, but we handled that per Tennessee protocol. The barge is now at our facility, assessed and staged for responsible disposal.
