Huntersville, NC: 20 ft Galaxy Gone in One Morning

A 20 ft Galaxy 2000 bowrider sat in a Huntersville yard, stripped down to bare fiberglass by a previous owner who'd started a restoration and walked away. No trailer underneath it, just blocks and dirt, hull sitting flat against the ground after years of settling. The fiberglass had softened in spots, and the weight distribution meant we couldn't just chain it and drag. We brought a heavy-duty rotator and a flatbed, positioned the rig on the property line side to minimize yard damage, then carefully lifted the hull using spreader bars to keep the stress even across the soft spots. Took most of a morning to get it stable, loaded, and strapped down tight. The Mecklenburg County crew then moved it out toward the processor for cutting and recycling. Crews cover all of Mecklenburg County: Charlotte, Cornelius, Matthews, Mint Hill, Stallings, Weddington. We handle pickups same week in most cases, and we see a lot of seasonal traffic around here, people moving boats in and out of storage before winter or spring, trailer space opening up fast. Call with your address and boat size, and we'll tell you what day works.
