34 ft Silverton Removal in Jersey City, NJ

A 34 ft Silverton 34 motor yacht had been sitting on jack stands in a Jersey City driveway for a decade, blue tarp lashed over the cabin and the fiberglass hull starting to fail where water pooled on top. The owner had bought it years back, kept it through a move, and eventually just stopped thinking about it. Until one afternoon he did think about it and called us. The trailer wasn't roadworthy, the stands had settled unevenly, and the boat was wedged between a fence and a neighbor's property line with maybe three feet of clearance on either side. We brought a crane and a heavy-haul rig, positioned the crane to lift the hull clear of the stands, and set it directly onto our transport frame. The whole operation ran under two hours from arrival to departure. No cutting, no drama. We routed the Silverton to the processor in Hudson County where the fiberglass got broken down and the salvageable metals were separated out. Crews cover all of Hudson County: Bayonne, Union City, North Bergen, Hoboken, West New York, Kearny. We move boats out same week most of the time, depending on the yard access and whether you're pulling from storage or a slip. Winter and spring bring a lot of seasonal moves in and out of the marinas and storage yards around Jersey City, so we keep rotation tight during those months.
