Sunken Cuddy Cabin Recovery in Kendale Lakes

The owner had quit checking on the 24 ft Formula 242 cuddy cabin long before the rain came, with stringers rotted under the cockpit floor. A week of afternoon storms filled the bilge, the stern let go, and the boat settled against the canal seawall until only the cabin roof showed above the surface.
The trouble was access. The seawall was too tight for a truck to back down and a low line crossed the lot next door, so nothing could lift from the street. We worked from the water side. Divers ran straps under the hull, the crew filled lift bags in stages, and a drain line emptied the cabin as she rose.
Once she floated level, we slid her along the seawall to a ramp near Coral Terrace. The stringers were gone and nothing was left to salvage, so this sunken boat removal ended at our yard for dismantling and recycling. A tow, a flatbed, and about five hours.

Crews cover Miami-Dade County: Brownsville, Coral Terrace, Country Club, Country Walk. When a boat goes under in any of them, a photo and a rough depth are enough to start planning, and most sunken boat calls get a crew on the water the same week. We bring our own bags, lines, and haul-out gear, so the owner does not need to arrange anything beforehand.
