27 ft Catalina Removal in La Mesa, CA

A 27 ft Catalina 27 sailboat had been sitting in a La Mesa driveway for three years. The standing rigging was seized, the sails rotted inside their bag, and the fiberglass hull was chalking in the sun. The owner had bought it decades ago thinking he'd restore it. He never did. The boat was on stands, not a trailer, which meant we couldn't just winch and tow. We had to build a custom cradle, load it onto our deck, and secure it for the two-hour haul south toward El Cajon. The weight was manageable but the footprint was tight in the driveway. We worked around the property line and got it loaded before noon. Back at the yard, we dropped the mast and pulled the keel. The hull went to the fiberglass processor. No title in the drawer, handled per California rules. The driveway was clean by end of day. We cover all of San Diego County: San Diego, Chula Vista, Oceanside, Escondido, Carlsbad, El Cajon. Most pickups happen same week. La Mesa sits right in the middle of our zone, so we're moving boats in and out of storage all year, especially during the seasonal transitions when owners shift vessels between local marinas and dry storage. Call with your address and boat size, and we'll tell you the day.
