Lehigh Acres, FL: 23 ft Rinker 232 Off the Bottom in One Morning

Her gelcoat crazed like a road map, the 23 ft Rinker 232 cuddy cabin had not been in the water for a year, the owner admitted. She sat against a canal seawall, and a failed bilge switch let the hull fill. In a few days only the cabin roof remained above the surface.
The obstacle was the depth under the seawall. The bottom dropped off sharply, so divers could not stand and had to hold position against a current. We anchored the skiff off the bow, passed straps from there, and set one lift bag at each quarter and a third amidships. A drain line went into the cabin and we raised her slowly, watching the straps for slip.
She floated level, and we moved her by tow down the canal toward Cape Coral to a public ramp. With a wet core and tired gelcoat, salvage made no sense. The Rinker went to our yard for dismantling and recycling. Five hours on site for the sunken boat removal.

Case summary
Illustrative example — a representative sunken boat recovery in Lee County, not a record of a specific customer job. Photos are illustrative too.

Crews cover Lee County: Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Cypress Lake, Estero. Photo and rough depth in hand, we begin planning right away, and a crew typically gets to the water the same week for boats that sink in these towns. We haul in all the gear ourselves, bags, lines, and the haul-out equipment, so the owner can skip any advance arrangements.
