Raising a 23 ft Rinker 232 in Liberty Triangle, FL

Before she went under, the 23 ft Rinker 232 cuddy cabin had gelcoat crazed like a road map, and the owner had been meaning to sell her. She sat at a lake dock, taking on a bit of water with each rain, until only the cabin roof showed above the surface.
The obstacle was the bottom. With the cabin top barely clear, the hull sat low in soft silt. Divers jetted the mud away from the keel line first, which took the better part of an hour. Then the crew passed three straps, set the lift bags, and filled them while a drain line ran in the cabin. She came off the bottom with a surge of brown water and floated level.
We handled the tow along the shore to the ramp and loaded her there, then headed toward Ocala. The core was saturated and the owner had no plan to restore her, so there was no salvage. She went to our yard for dismantling and recycling. Five hours on site for the sunken boat removal.

Crews cover Marion County: Marion Oaks, Ocala, On Top Of The World, Silver Springs Shores. Sunken boats in this area typically come up the same week, before fuel and oil have longer to spread. Make one call, send a few pictures, and we book the job and arrive with all the lift equipment. Towns with no ramp in easy reach are covered in the same way as everywhere else.
