Los Angeles, CA: 23 ft Rinker Gone in One Morning

This 23 ft Rinker 232 cuddy cabin sat on a Los Angeles County driveway pad long enough for the gelcoat to craze over like a road map, fine cracks running stem to stern. Whoever parked it there hadn't moved it since the trailer hubs seized solid, and once tires stop turning, a boat like this just becomes part of the driveway. Getting it out meant winching the whole rig sideways off the seized axle rather than rolling it, since the wheels weren't going anywhere. The cuddy cabin added weight up front, so we worked the tongue weight carefully to keep the trailer from digging into the concrete pad as we walked it out toward the street. Once we had it square with the truck, the load itself went fast. No title in the drawer, handled per the California page rules, so that didn't slow us down either. Most of a morning start to finish, then the hull went straight to the processor for cutting down, same route we'd have run through Long Beach if the yard needed the extra room. Crews cover all of Los Angeles County: Long Beach, Santa Clarita, Glendale, Lancaster, Palmdale, Pomona. I've got teams booking same-week pickups most weeks, so a 23 ft Rinker sitting on a trailer doesn't have to wait around. A lot of our Antelope Valley runs land right when folks are pulling boats out of seasonal storage yards in Lancaster and Palmdale and finally deciding it's not going back in.
