Melbourne, FL: 20 ft Chaparral Gone in One Morning

A 20 ft Chaparral 204 SSi bowrider sat in a Brevard County driveway for three years. The windshield frame had cracked, the upholstery had gone soft with mildew, and the owner had stopped looking at it. The trailer was worse,both hubs had seized solid, and the tires were flat enough that the rig wasn't moving on its own. We showed up on a Tuesday morning. The driveway was tight, and the neighbors in Rockledge were close enough that we couldn't simply drag it out. We jacked the trailer axles clear of the seized hubs, lifted the whole rig onto our rotator, and winched it straight onto the flatbed. The fiberglass hull had no structural damage underneath, so we didn't need to cut it down on-site. The whole job took us under two hours from first contact to hauling it out. We routed the hull to the processor in Brevard County where the fiberglass gets shredded and the metal separated.
