Hauling a bowrider out of a Newton driveway

A 19 ft Four Winns Horizon 190 had been sitting in a Newton driveway for two years after the motor seized. The bowrider was fiberglass, solid hull, but the engine was locked. The trailer was still serviceable, which helped, but the real problem was access. The driveway was narrow, and the boat sat tight against the garage with maybe three feet of working room on either side. We came in with a smaller tow rig instead of the full heavy wrecker. Unhitched the trailer from the foundation bolts, then used a come-along and some careful backing to rotate the whole assembly into the street without clipping the neighbor's fence or the garage corner. Once we had room to work, the trailer pulled straight onto our deck. The job ran under an hour from arrival to loaded. The hull went to our processor in Middlesex County where the fiberglass got sorted for recycling and the steel trailer was scrapped separately. No title in the drawer, handled per the Massachusetts rules for abandoned vessels. Crews cover all of Middlesex County: Cambridge, Lowell, Somerville, Framingham, Malden, Waltham.
