Hauling a cuddy cabin out of a Omaha driveway

This 21 ft Thompson 21 cuddy cabin had been sitting on a single axle trailer with the outdrive pulled and never put back. Somebody started a repair job years back, lost interest, and the boat just stayed put in a Douglas County driveway with a bent axle holding it up wrong on one side. The trailer was the whole problem. With the axle bent, the frame sat crooked and one tire kept catching against the fender every time we tried to roll it. We jacked the frame square, swapped a wheel to get clearance, and worked it out past a tight fence line toward the street. No title in the drawer, handled per the Nebraska page rules. Took most of a morning to get it loaded and strapped down, longer than a straight pull would have run. We came up from the Ralston side to avoid a low spot in the alley behind the house. Once it was on the truck, the fiberglass hull with no working drive left had one place to go. It got routed straight to the processor for cutdown, and that driveway had its space back by early afternoon. Crews cover all of Douglas County: Ralston, Valley, Bennington, Waterloo, Boys Town, King Lake. Most calls I get land same week, no matter which side of the county you're on. Fall and spring are the busiest stretch, since that's when folks are hauling boats out of storage yards and driveway spots before or after the season, and I schedule around those windows so a truck can get in and out without blocking anybody's access.
