Hauling a sailboat out of a Pensacola lot

A 27 ft Catalina 27 sailboat sat on wooden stands in West Pensacola with the standing rigging seized solid and the sails rotted inside their bag. The owner had stopped visiting it years ago, and the boat had become part of the property no one wanted to claim. No title in the drawer, handled per Florida abandonment rules. The real problem was access. The boat sat deep in a residential lot near Ferry Pass, and the only way out was a narrow drive with a low-hanging oak branch and a soft shoulder. The mast was already down, which saved time, but the keel still needed to come out at our yard before we could move it anywhere. We brought a crane truck, cut the trailer free from the stands, and worked the rig through that tight exit under an hour. Once it hit the yard, the keel came out, the hull went to the processor, and the lot was clean. Crews cover all of Escambia County: Ferry Pass, Bellview, Brent, Ensley, West Pensacola, Myrtle Grove.
