Storm-Damaged Boat Removal in Port Arthur, Texas

The storm surge left a 32-foot Carver on its side three streets from where it used to float, pushed clean off its trailer by water that rose faster than anyone expected. The owner had meant to sell it that same season, had a buyer lined up even, but the deal fell through once the deck flooded and the interior started molding. What made this one difficult was access, the yard was still soft from standing water weeks later, soft enough that a standard truck would have sunk to the axles. We brought mats and a lighter rig to spread the weight and winched the hull out in sections once we confirmed the structure wouldn't hold together whole. Recyclable metal came out separately, and the rest of the hull went for disposal as storm debris.
