Port Arthur, TX: 21 ft Thompson Gone in One Morning

A 21 ft Thompson 21 cuddy cabin sat in a driveway off Grayson Street for three years. The outdrive had been pulled years before and never went back in, and the single-axle trailer underneath it had bent so far out of true that the frame twisted when we tried to roll it. The boat wasn't going anywhere, and the owner wasn't interested in fixing it. We showed up on a Tuesday morning with a heavy-duty rotator and a second truck for the trailer. The bent axle meant we couldn't tow the rig straight, so we loaded the fiberglass hull first, secured it to the main bed, then dealt with the trailer separately. The whole job ran under two hours. The Thompson went to the processor in Beaumont, where the hull was cut down and the materials sorted for recycling. Crews cover all of Jefferson County: Beaumont, Nederland, Groves, Port Neches, Central Gardens, Fannett. We handle pickups same week most of the time, depending on where you are in the county and what the schedule looks like.
