Hauling a sailboat out of a Queen Creek yard

A 25 ft O'Day 25 sat on concrete blocks in a Queen Creek yard, keel bolts weeping rust streaks down the hull like the boat had been crying for years. The fiberglass was sound enough, but the corrosion told us this sailboat wasn't going back in the water. The owner had bought it decades ago with plans that never quite happened. The mast came down years back and never went up again. By the time we got the call, the trailer was long gone, and the boat was resting on stands in a spot that made loading angles tight. We brought a heavy-duty dolly and reinforced jacks, rolled her off the stands, and positioned the truck so we could winch her up at the right angle without stressing the hull. Most of a morning, start to finish. At the yard, the keel came out first. Then the crew cut the hull into manageable sections for the recycler. Fiberglass gets sorted, metal salvaged, and the rest goes to the appropriate disposal stream. The blocks where it sat are empty now.
