Raising a 26 ft MacGregor 26 in Country Club, FL

Nobody had been aboard the 26 ft MacGregor 26 in years, and a mildewed cabin and a missing rudder set the picture. She went down against a canal seawall with only the cabin roof showing, tied off on a rope about to part.
The seawall was the obstacle. Concrete edge, no way to swing equipment in, and a narrow canal where a loose hull would drift into private docks. We ran two lines across the water to hold her in place, set lift bags from a skiff, and let her rise on the lines instead of the wall.
Most of a morning. She came up empty, the sort of boat a repair yard would not look at twice, so we trailered her out after a tow to the nearest ramp. Dismantling and recycling at our yard. The trailer hardware and the spars came off as salvage. Sunken boat removal in a tight canal is mostly patience.

Crews cover Miami-Dade County: Brownsville, Coral Terrace, Country Walk, and Fountainebleau. We reach Miami-Dade canal jobs the same week, usually with one crew and one skiff. Canal streets here run narrow, so we send a smaller truck and keep the long trailer for the ramp, away from the residential blocks.
