20 ft Chaparral Removal in The Hammocks, FL

A 20 ft Chaparral 204 SSi was taking up slip space at a marina in The Hammocks. The bowrider had a cracked windshield frame and mildewed upholstery, the kind of damage that tells you the boat's been sitting for years. The owner had stopped paying slip fees two seasons back, and the marina finally called us to move it off the dock. The real problem wasn't the boat itself, it was the trailer. The hubs had seized solid, which meant we couldn't roll it anywhere. We had to bring a heavy rotator and winch setup down from Miami to lift the entire rig off the dock and onto our trailer bed. The fiberglass hull needed careful handling, and the weight distribution on a seized trailer meant we had to rig it differently than a standard pull. Under an hour of setup, and we had it loaded and secured. The Chaparral went to our Florida processor for hull disposal. No title in the drawer, but we handled that per the Florida rules. The slip was clear by end of week. We cover all of Miami-Dade County: Miami, Hialeah, Miami Gardens, Miami Beach, Homestead, Kendall. The Hammocks sits right in the middle of our service area, and we pick up boats there most weeks. A lot of folks move boats in and out of storage facilities around The Hammocks before the season shifts, and we handle those runs regularly. Call with your address and the size of your rig, and we'll tell you when we can get to it.
