The Hammocks, FL: 26 ft Sea Ray 268 Sundancer Off the Bottom in One Morning

Nobody finished the project on the 26 ft Sea Ray 268 Sundancer, where a soft transom and peeling bottom paint waited. She sat in a slip while the owner waited for a better season. Then the transom drain let go, and the boat settled with the deck awash and the bow tipped up.
Fuel was the obstacle. A tank half full of old gas rode low in the hull, and a sheen already showed on the water. We boomed the area, drained the tank into approved containers, and only then began the raise. Lift bags went on from a skiff, and the crew brought her up level.
She floated, and a short tow got her to the haul-out. The transom was rotten right through to the stringers, so salvage was out. We hauled her out toward Country Club to our yard for dismantling and recycling. Four hours on site with the slip clean when we left. Sunken boat removal sometimes means cleaning more than lifting.

Crews cover Miami-Dade County: Brownsville, Coral Terrace, Country Club, and Country Walk. When a boat goes under in The Hammocks, photos and a rough depth are usually enough to plan the job, and most recoveries here are scheduled within the same week. The skiff, the lift bags, and a trailer come with the crew, so you do not have to line up three different outfits. Forward the photos you have, and we will outline the work needed to raise it.
