West Jordan, UT: 19 ft Celebrity Gone in One Morning

A 19 ft Celebrity 190 bowrider had been sitting in a West Jordan yard for three seasons. The windshield was gone, the hull was full of rainwater, and both trailer tires had gone flat months earlier. The owner had bought it thinking he'd use it, but life got in the way, and eventually the boat just became part of the landscape. We showed up on a Tuesday morning. The main problem wasn't the boat itself,it was the trailer. Flat tires meant we couldn't roll it, so we had to jack the entire rig, swap in a tow dolly, and secure the hull before we could move it out of the yard and onto the truck. The crew worked through most of the morning to get it stable and loaded. Once it was on the trailer, we routed the whole thing down to our processor in Salt Lake County, where the fiberglass got cut down and recycled.
