Raising a 23 ft Rinker 232 in Auburndale, FL

The gelcoat on the 23 ft Rinker 232 was crazed like a road map, and one of those cracks ran near the stern drain. That crack turned a slow leak into a sunk boat at a lake dock. Only the cabin roof showed above the water when the owner called.
The dock was short, with a rotten end board, so we could not stand a crew on it. We worked from a skiff and a second flat boat, which let us put lift bags under the cuddy and the cockpit without loading the boards. A sheen showed on the surface, so a boom went around the hull before anything moved.
A little over three hours on site. The tow ran along the shore to a ramp near Bartow, and the Rinker, soft and cracked from stem to stern, went to our yard for dismantling and recycling. Nothing in that hull was worth a salvage attempt, so the sunken boat recovery ended at the scrap line.

Crews cover Polk County: Bartow, Davenport, Fuller Heights, Haines City. Most lake docks in the county have a soft end or a narrow approach, so we send a skiff-capable crew first and bring the truck once we know the water. Calls about a boat down at a dock are normally handled inside the same week.
